1000s of individual parts collated into a high impact display unit and rolled out to 100 prestige Tesco stores in just four weeks.
Tesco’s Barbara Daley cosmetic range quickly developed into a well-respected brand and received prominent promotion across many of their stores in the UK.
This complex project involved many challenging production processes, required logistical excellence and a dedicated, experienced POS team capable of manufacturing and collating the 100s of working parts that constituted a complete unit. Product display ‘cassettes’ were a mixture of injection mouldings, PETG vacuum formings and acrylic fabrications and included gravity fed and mechanically operating parts. We developed the most effective ways to manufacture all the parts in the time required and with minimum waste – great for costs and the environment.
The lightweight inner carcase was constructed from melamine faced MDF, mild steel and high impact styrene. LED shelf edge lighting provided illumination to the front facing of all products with power provided by a simple 12V plug and play jack plug system.
From initial concept to units collated for installation in 100 stores was achieved within four weeks.
