1500 protective screens for Arcadian Group stores
Multi-national retailers Arcadia Group asked us to manufacture protective stores to protect staff and customers
Arcadia Group tasked Wrights Plastics to design and manufacture 1500 protective screens for their retail environments. The screens would be protecting both the staff and members of the public.
Project Brief
The brief was simple:
- the screens must be effective in creating a contagion barrier.
- they must also be long lasting, and
- not be intrusive to the public.
Project Profile
We developed a bespoke design that could be modified as required for individual stores. Given the fast moving nature of the situation, we were required to completion production within a tight turnaround.
Wrights Plastics recommended 5mm clear substrate (many variables available from our extensive stock) sneeze screens. These sneeze guards are clear and durable and meet the clients specifications.
Various sizes and styles of screens were installed in retail outlets across the country protecting both customers and staff from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemi
It total 1500 protective screens were supplied.

The project formed part of our Back to Work Safely project whihc saw us supply a range of Covid-secure products including sneeze screens and hand sanitisor stations and barrier to leading supermarkets and retailers. Most of our production capacity was switched to meet demand.
We have also developed an off-the-shelf range of protective screens and hand sanitor stations for shops, offices, hospitality and catering venues.
